FAMILY SURVIVAL CAMP
(23-24 SEPTEMBER)
A weekend immersed in the nature of Andermatt designed for families and led by Andrea Abbiendi of www.kidssurvivalcamp.ch who will guide children and parents to live primordial experiences such as lighting a fire!

DAY 1
10.00 – Meeting at THE BASE – ANDERMATT and accommodation in the flat.
10.30 Welcome coffee and presentation of activities.
11.00 Walk to the forest.
Start of activities:
- Basics and survival priorities.
- Base camp and emergency shelter construction
- Lighting a fire with tinder and safety measures
- Water search and purification
13.00 Lunch organised in Survuival style: chicken and vegetables cooked directly on the fire.
- Orientation with the sun
- Survival tool construction
17.00 Back to the village and check in.
Free evening
Overnight stay at THE BASE – ANDERMATT in a Standard flat (consisting of kitchen, living room with sofa bed, bathroom and double bedroom. Free covered parking).
DAY 2
8.30 Continental breakfast offered directly in the flat.
9.30 Meeting in the hall with Andrea and short briefing on the activities to be carried out.
10.00 Walk to the place where the activities will take place.
11.00 start of the activities
The program includes an introduction to some basic self-defence techniques based on 3 fighting methods for children and young people, developed with playful activities through body movements that will lead participants to learn the self-defence methodology while having fun:
- frontal fist defence
- slap defence
- various arm and neck holds
- some stick attack defence techniques
A number of topics will also be covered for parents: attitudes to adopt in case of dangerous situations in the presence of children and strategies and techniques to implement in case of aggression; movements in the car in different scenarios.
12.30 Return to THE BASE – ANDERMATT, refreshment, check out and goodbyes.
600 CHF per family (3/4 people)
The event will take place with a minimum requirement of 3 families.
